DAYTIME DRESS

Tiny red poppies are scattered across my cream coloured 100% cotton dress. The bodice is self-lined, and the back fastens with three small poppers. The hem is edged with delicate red cotton lace.

FRENCH BERET

My elegant French beret was handcrafted from cream-coloured 100% merino wool felt fabric, using traditional millinery methods. The crown and sweatband are both stiffened to hold their shape and provide a crisp, professional finish. The interior of the beret’s crown features a cream-coloured decorative braid. The sweatband is edged with a black petersham millinery ribbon, embellished with a handmade red and black felt poppy on the side.

CAPE

I am wearing a fleece cape, lined to match my dress, and secured with two black satin ribbon ties.

ACCESSORY

My handbag coordinates with my hat, adding a touch of whimsy. It features a pop of colour from its red blanket stitch and the sweet, tiny, hand-embroidered poppy.
