All candles are handmade in small batches, so slight variations in colour, texture or appearance are normal and part of their charm. Refunds or returns are accepted for items that arrive damaged or faulty. Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos so I can help quickly.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
I’m unable to accept returns for used candles or for issues caused by improper burning.
Returned items must be unused, unlit, and in their original condition.
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item arrived damaged or faulty.
Please obtain proof of postage when returning an item, as refunds cannot be issued for items lost in transit.
Refunds are processed within the stated timeframe once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Custom or personalised orders, sale items, and items damaged after delivery due to misuse are not eligible for return.
Exchanges are not offered; eligible items will be refunded instead.
Items must be returned in their original packaging to ensure safe transit.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of purchase. After this time, your candle may already be in production or prepared for dispatch.
Missed Delivery / Safe‑Place Disclaimer
If a parcel is marked as delivered by the courier, The Molten Wax Pot cannot be held responsible for loss or damage occurring after delivery, including theft or weather exposure.
Incorrect Address Disclaimer
Please ensure the return delivery address is correct upon return. Orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer cannot be replaced or refunded.
Door Pickup / Local Collection (Lincoln, UK)
If you wish to return an item via local collection, please contact us and a date and time will be arranged for the return to the collection address.
Weather‑Safe Packaging Assurance
All candles are packaged in insulated, weather‑safe materials designed to protect them during transit in both hot and cold conditions. Returned items must be sent back in the same packaging they were received in.
