REVERSIBLE CAPE

I am wearing a 100 % cotton handcrafted cape in blue teal with a magical winter woodland pattern of trees, stars, moons, owls, and robins. The lining consists of a red polar fleece fabric to keep me warm. The cape is tied under my chin with two pieces of red velvet ribbon for a traditional style. Some red piping was handsewn into the seam of the collar to create a defined and decorative line between the outer and inner parts.

WOODLAND TOP HAT

My bespoke top hat was handcrafted, using traditional millinery methods. The crown and brim are both made of a stiffened buckram base, covered with a layer of wool wadding. This process ensures my hat holds its shape perfectly and remains a long-lasting, high-quality piece of headwear.

The hat’s crown is fabricated from the same material as the cape’s exterior and accented with a piece of white knobbly braid. The brim is covered with two layers of red merino felt fabric, then wired and edged with a red velvet ribbon. My hat is festively adorned with some fluffy artificial snow, three white millinery rosebuds, five frosted red artificial berries, a small cinnamon stick, a miniature resin owl, and a resin robin figurine. The inside is lined with red polar fleece and finished with a row of delicate, white knobbly braid.
