Handmade Beaded Jewellery & Bookish Gifts

Thank you for supporting my small handmade business. Every item is made with care and, where applicable, may have slight variations due to the handmade nature of the products.

 

By placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Handmade Products

 

All jewellery, bookmarks, bookish gifts and other items are handmade.

 

Because each item is individually created, there may be small differences in colour, pattern, size, shape or finish compared with photographs. These differences are part of the charm of handmade products and are not considered faults.

 

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

 

2. Orders

 

Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase, including:

 

– Item(s) selected

– Quantity

– Colour/design

– Personalisation details, where applicable

– Delivery address

 

I cannot be responsible for mistakes made by the customer when providing an incorrect delivery address or incorrect personalised information.

 

If you notice an error in your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

 

3. Custom & Personalised Orders

 

Custom and personalised items are made specifically for you.

 

Please check all spelling, names, dates and other information carefully before submitting your order.

 

Because personalised items are made specifically for the customer, they may not be eligible for cancellation or return where the law allows an exception for personalised goods.

 

If I make an error with the information you supplied correctly, please contact me so that I can put this right.

 

4. Payment

 

Payment must be received before your order is made or dispatched.

 

Prices will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

 

I reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before an order is fulfilled.

 

5. Processing Times

 

Items are handmade and processing times may vary depending on the product and current order volume.

 

Estimated processing times will be provided where possible.

 

Custom or personalised orders may take longer to complete.

 

If there is likely to be a significant delay, I will contact you where reasonably possible.

 

6. Delivery

 

Orders will be sent to the delivery address provided at checkout.

 

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times are outside my direct control.

 

I cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal services, courier services, severe weather, strikes or other circumstances outside my reasonable control.

 

If your parcel appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact me and I will do my best to assist.

 

7. Returns & Cancellations

 

I want you to be happy with your purchase.

 

For eligible non-personalised items purchased online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within the applicable cooling-off period under UK consumer law.

 

Some items may be exempt from cancellation rights, including certain personalised or bespoke products.

 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

 

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact me as soon as possible with details of the problem and photographs where appropriate.

 

8. Damaged Items

 

All items are checked before dispatch and packaged carefully.

 

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me promptly and provide photographs of:

 

– The damaged item

– The packaging

– Any visible damage to the parcel

 

I will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, refund or other suitable remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

 

9. Jewellery Care & Safety

 

Handmade jewellery should be treated with care.

 

To help keep your jewellery looking its best:

 

– Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals.

– Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming or exercising.

– Store jewellery somewhere dry when not being worn.

– Avoid pulling, stretching or bending jewellery.

– Keep jewellery away from young children and pets.

– Check clasps, cords, findings and other components regularly.

 

Beaded jewellery may contain small components and may present a choking or swallowing hazard.

 

Jewellery is not intended to be used as a toy.

 

10. Allergies & Sensitivities

 

Some jewellery may contain metals, plated components, acrylic, glass, gemstones, wood, resin or other materials.

 

If you have an allergy or sensitivity, please contact me before purchasing so I can provide information about the materials used in a particular item.

 

I cannot guarantee that products have been made in an allergen-free environment.

 

11. Bookmarks & Bookish Gifts

 

Bookmarks and bookish gifts are decorative and/or functional handmade items.

 

Some products may contain small beads, charms, chains, tassels or other small components.

 

Please keep these products away from young children and pets.

 

Bookmarks should be handled carefully to prevent bending, snapping or damage to the materials.

 

12. Product Images

 

I make every reasonable effort to photograph and describe products accurately.

 

However, handmade items may vary slightly from photographs.

 

Colours may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and the device used to view the product.

 

13. Intellectual Property

 

All photographs, designs, artwork, branding, logos, product descriptions and original designs created for my business remain my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

 

They may not be copied, reproduced, altered, sold or used commercially without my written permission.

 

14. Customer Photographs & Reviews

 

If you choose to send photographs, reviews or feedback about your purchase, I may ask for permission to use them on my social media pages, website or other marketing materials.

 

I will not use identifiable customer photographs or personal information for marketing without appropriate permission.

 

15. Personal Information

 

Customer information will only be used for purposes connected with processing and fulfilling orders, communicating with customers and meeting legal or administrative requirements.

 

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

 

The version applying to your order will be the version in effect at the time your order is placed.
